Brixton Artists Collective

This exhibition of work by local artists, coordinated by Kevin O’Connor, opened the Gallery.  Quite a few of the artists in this first show went on to be active members of the Collective that ran the Gallery.  Only one of them, Francoise Dupre, a mixed media sculptor, also showed work in exhibition number 50, the one that closes this archive.
