A symposium at University of Westminster on 5th June 2010

Preface: A symposium about the archiving of a huge artists collective that ran Brixton Art Gallery between 1983 and 1986. Looking back the gallery was unique in reflecting aspects of the period unlike any other art institution. This was an attempt to think about the archiving process and involve some of those involved in dialogue with the archivists who will acquire material records in 2012 after the ‘Brixton Calling! archive show at 198 Contemporary Arts and Learning in late 2011.
